The Apple October 2021 Event!

“You have to be burning with an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right. If you're not passionate enough from the start, you'll never stick it out.” ― Steve Jobs

Apple just wrapped up its October 2021 event, which featured a slew of innovative products and promises, including the long-awaited M1-equipped MacBook Pros. Do you want to keep track of all the noteworthy announcements made during this event? You've come to the correct blog I should say!

Let us jump right into Apple's official developments from this presentation without wasting precious time.

Apple's fight to exclude Intel from its portfolio resumes with the introduction of two new processors: the M1 Pro and M1 Max, professional-grade CPUs that will emerge in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, respectively. Apple's first in-house, Arm-based CPU for laptops, the M1, was unveiled a little more than a year ago.

Apple has put a lot of effort into optimizing memory bandwidth and expanding core counts in the M1 Pro and M1 Max over the original M1.

Apple M1 Pro Specs

  • Max memory:- 16 GB

  • CPU Cores:- 8

  • GPU Cores:- 7/8

  • Transistors:- 16 billion

  • Memory Bandwidth:- 68.25 GBps

Apple M1 Max Specs

  • Max memory:- 32 GB
  • CPU Cores:- 8/10

  • GPU Cores:- 14/16

  • Transistors:- 33.7 billion

  • Memory Bandwidth:- 200 GBps

Having 57 billion transistors, it's a huge number. The M1 Max is Apple's biggest CPU ever, with 33.7 billion transistors, and the M1 Pro has 33.7 billion transistors. Both are manufactured using the same 5-nanometer technology as the M1.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro 2021, along with its elder sibling, the MacBook 16-inch 2021, was ultimately unveiled during Apple's October 18 presentation. More connections, crisper displays, and all-new M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs that boast incredible power are all included in either.

A mini-LED display, MagSafe charging, HDMI and SD Card slots, and a 1080p camera are among the other features. Unfortunately, there is a notch.

Airpods 3

The redesigned $179 Apple AirPods are almost a mix of the second-generation Apple AirPods from 2019 and the Apple AirPods Pro, with many of the capabilities you'd anticipate from the best wireless earbuds in a new design. The third-generation AirPods have their open-tip design, so there's no active noise cancellation, but they do include the Spatial Audio and Adaptive EQ features seen in Apple's premium headphones.

The AirPods 3 resemble the AirPods Pro almost as much as the original AirPods, with narrower stems and oblong buds. Because the third-generation AirPods don't feature ear tips, the in-ear fit will be comparable to that of the original AirPods.

Furthermore, the AirPods 3 have a redesigned design. Powerful bass and crisp, clear high-frequency sounds are promised by a unique low-distortion driver. They don't have active noise cancellation or a fitted ear tip test, but they do have Adaptive EQ, which adjusts the sound automatically based on how well the buds suit your ears.

AirPods 3 also include Announce Notifications for auditory reminders, hands-free Siri activation, and genuine Find My support for misplaced AirPods.

We're slightly bummed that the AirPods 3 don't include active noise canceling at $179. Despite this, the new AirPods seem appealing due to Spatial Audio compatibility, smaller tips, improved durability, and longer battery life.

HomePods Mini

In this area, Apple is closing up to this challenge. Google's Nest Mini smart speakers come in blue and orange, while Amazon's Echo Dot comes in blue, as well as some fun animal-themed hues on the Echo Dot Kids Edition.

Apple also confirmed at the presentation that the Mini will function with the new Apple Music Voice subscription. You receive 360-degree audio in a little package. To transfer audio, simply bring your iPhone to the HomePod mini.

Now available in three brighter colors: yellow, orange, and blue, with a November delivery date. It costs $99 which is fair enough compared to Apple's standards!

Apple Music Voice Plan ($4.99/month)

I literally can not think of another compelling reason for Apple to provide the Apple Music Voice plan, especially because the new service is anticipated to have substantially smaller margins than the normal plan, given that the licensing agreements with labels actually offer the whole Apple Music catalog stay the same.

Apple has not stated why it is implementing this strategy, but I believe it is safe to assume that it is lowering the price barrier and convincing greater people to use Siri in order to collect extra voice data in order to train and enhance its voice assistant.

That was all I wish to talk about Apple's October 2021 event to you! I am glad you liked both the event and my article. Thank you for taking the time to read this article
